What changed

Planet-X’s 24 October release note (e6328e19) says expired sale listings now clear their reservation on the item. The owner’s edition can then be listed again, including when the purchase of a different copy is taking place at the same time. The change addresses a stale hold left behind after a listing ends.

Why it matters

For an eligible owner, an expired listing no longer needs to stand in the way of creating a fresh one for that edition. Buyers should still check X-Armoury for current availability: an expired listing is not an active offer, and a listing’s asking price is not a completed-sale price.

Market impact remains to be seen

The update concerns listing management; it does not by itself show a rise in completed sales, trading volume or collectible prices. Those outcomes require verified completed-sale records.
